After the Gibeonites deceived Joshua and made themselves wood cutters and water carriers, 5 kings joined together to attack Gibeon. Gibeon sent word to Joshua that they were under attack. And God said to joshua that he could just wipe them out. So Joshua said to the sun:
"O sun, stand still over Gibeon,
O moon over the Valley of
Aijalon." So the sun stood still,
and the moon stopped,till the nation
avenged itself on it's enemy's.
Now the 5 kings ran away to a cave and when Joshua found out they rolled big rocks on the caves entrance and then fought some more. After, the kings were brought to Joshua. He put them to the sword and they were dragged back to the cave where they were hiding. They rolled the stones over the entance again and they are there to this day. After they killed the army that was as numerous as sand on the seashorethey had killed 31 kings.
